[Crowley has kept his new powers virtually under wraps, using the new abilities to please himself alone: he adds a few more rooms to his cabin, updates all of his cutting-edge furniture, and does a few truly hideous things to houseplants that dramatically thrive in terror.

Now he's gotten bored, and has decided to treat the Barge to a bit of music. On loop.]

Enjoying the soundtrack? I'll change the song if anyone can suggest a better one. ["Better" here meaning "even more annoying."]

[Paris is a nice return to normality for Crowley. He's been before, and walking the familiar streets is almost comforting. No magic to worry about, no monsters beyond those he shares a boat with, and the food is exquisite - he missed that. The limitless credit cards he wished up for himself are serving him well, and he takes the opportunity to spoil himself.

Fancy cigarettes. Good wine. New suits. A Maserati Granturismo.

He careens down the crowded city streets at 120kph, getting away with it simply because humans know it's physically impossible; he rents a floor of a five-star hotel; he haunts the most expensive restaurants and shames the waiters; he hits nightclubs and usually walks out with at least one gorgeous young Parisian.

It's a good port.]

Went to a cafe with somebody this morning. Then had lunch with another somebody at another cafe. There's lots of cafes here, I have noticed.

[ Vergil was walking down the street, his long blue coat was a sign of it being him, if his hair wasn't enough. He was reading over a book as he walked. He had no money... yet he had a fancy coffee in the other hand, and a nice pair of blue shades on.]

Although I personally want to see what Versace is up to, because that might be good for you. [This last part is directed toward her.]

[She gives them both a flat look.]

[ He gives her a look, not even one judging. He's actually kinda glad no one really understands besides his few close friends when he starts talking in his mothers tongue. When he spoke it was dry, but to both of them.]

[ Given outside of his jacket his clothes are usually leather Those damn riding boots hes wearing are too.] One can only shop lift so much before they get noticed.

I meant we're getting somewhere with your outfits. You didn't miss anything, he was just griping. [This is said to Tiffany as he steers them toward the Champs-Élysées. He's now on the hunt; before the day is out he will play dress-up with them.]

Vergil, you're wearing boots and a coat with tails in the summer. You didn't get noticed already?

No, that would be unbecoming, unless that is what you would like to try. Fashion matters, yes but you should be comfortable.

[ he looked back out the side of the car watching the city speed by, thinking how much it has changed.]

Don't be ridiculous. I was thinking more along the lines of a sundress -- gathered skirt, bold pattern.

So now it's a stylist, then shopping, then racing, then dinner. How did this day get so busy?

My hair don't look bad. Iris does it sometimes. And it gets good shampoo and conditioner now.

[But it's definitely not styled at the moment. She tugs at the ends, studying it.]

I didn't say it looks bad, still sometimes simply getting a professional to fix it up gives hair a new life.

[ He looked back to her finally.] Pretty is for girls, You are already beautiful in your own way Tiffany, it's just a means to project it more.

[ Then he looked back out the side, a little sicked with himself for saying that, because he hates sentiment, but Paris has a way with him.]

And Crowley, I never agreed to stay with you all day. I have to find a certain cemetery before we leave.

It's the 21st century. Sometimes the terms are interchangeable, get with the program.

[There's no bite in Crowley's voice either. Driving calms him like little else does, especially when it infuriates all the other motorists. There's a parking space directly outside Carita and it just so happens there are appointment openings available. (In Crowley's world, reservations are something that happen to other people.)]

Now we just have to find a coiffeur who speaks English.
